You described the inner battle so well, Ali! I have fought a time or two with my ego. In fact, my ego once got in the way during an important job interview and I didn't get the job. I didn't realize my ego was talking so much until I got notified that I wasn't selected. When I thought about the interview, I was ashamed that I assumed they needed me more than I needed them. A valuable life lesson indeed.

As you said, life is full of twists and turns and sometimes we just have to hold on and see where it takes us. Best of luck on this new journey you are on.
