When I was a kid, I spent lots of time on the lake - canoeing, water skiing, fishing, sometimes swimming in the murky lake water. As an adult, I don't care for the water. I like to look at it, but not be in it. I lived for three years in Florida (Melbourne) and went to the beach a lot, but only got in the water a handful of times. My relationship with water is much different as an adult. Maybe I need to get a slip-n-slide this summer and try to recapture my youthful enthusiasm for water. : )

Thanks for sharing your memories, Steff. They were fun to read!
