This is a timely article for me. I recently stepped away from providing therapy, my identity for 25+ years. My body was telling me to stop (many medical conditions that I was seemingly too young to be experiencing, yet having none the same), but who was I professionally if I wasn't a therapist?? I'm still finding my way into the third stage of my life - I get turned around a lot, but ultimately I start moving forward again.

I'm sorry for your losses - those are significant and I'm sure very painful. I hope you are finding peace and healing in your current stage of life.
