The first few paragraphs were a little tough for me to read because I'm sensitive to how some people perceive large families. I have had a few people make unkind comments to me when I'm out with my kids.

The bottom line, and this is what I heard in your article, is people have reasons for their choices. We can't assume that someone who has multiple children doesn't care about the environment/climate change or is selfish. Nor, can we assume that someone who doesn't have children is making a mistake or is selfish. We make the best choice for ourselves and it is our responsibility to live that choice well.

That's what I heard you say and I absolutely agree. We must be kind, accepting, and embrace others. As you say, kindness is a superpower. : )
