Our next-door neighbors moved into their house in September. As a welcome gift, I brought over some homemade cookies. This afternoon, their young son came over with a lovely assortment of Christmas cookies that he helped to decorate. He enjoyed pointing out the ones that he frosted. It was so cute. : )

I love cookies, and I have certainly experienced how they can help with social connections. You have motivated me to host a neighborhood cookie swap in the next few months -such a great idea! Thank you, Irene!
