My heart breaks for little "Arty" (I believe you have mentioned in other articles that you went by that name as a child. Please correct me if I'm wrong). I'm so sorry that you didn't receive the love and support you needed as a child. Those are difficult wounds to heal, but it sounds like you are doing a wonderful job of growing beyond those experiences. Thank you for sharing your story and encouraging others. That is one of the best ways to heal in my opinion!
