I thought the winning piece was amazing! She is a great storyteller and I aspire to write more like her one day.

On a side note, I want to thank you, JoAnn, for giving me a little nudge to submit my piece for the MWC. I don't know if you remember our conversation, but I certainly do.

Here was my response to you:

"I haven't read The Men on My Couch, but it sounds intriguing. I will check it out. Thanks for your encouragement with the writing contest. I don't tend to write about clinical cases, but I thought of a potential angle from a parenting perspective. I'll see if I can flesh it out in the next few days. I might write better under pressure. - we'll see. Ha! : ) Did you enter the writing contest?"

I did submit a parenting piece for space and it did pretty well. : ) Many thanks for your encouragement. I owe you one!!
