I hope that girl from your high school is much less stressed now. Adolesence is hard enough without adding undo pressure on yourself.

The pressures of high school seem to be even worse now. My son graduated in May and I went to the H.S. awards ceremony. It was crazy how many students were taking college courses in H.S. and the number of A.P. class. As I sat through the ceremony, I kept thinking, when do these kids have time to be kids? It is sad how much our society has shifted towards over achieving and 24/7 work.

Thank you, Steffany, for sharing your thoughts. "Last minute chaos queen" - that description made me laugh. There is brilliance in chaos sometimes. : )
