I hadn't heard about this statement from Elon Musk, so thank you, Ali, for bringing it to my attention. It seems that he often says polarizing things and I wonder if it is mostly a media ploy? A way for Musk to stay constantly in the spotlight?

Having or not having children is a personal decision that has long-ranging consequences both individually and collectively and should be thoughtfully considered. It should not be a snap decision to populate Mars. : )
