I had to google "pop-it toys" because that term was new to me. Interesting. They seem to serve a similar purpose as stress balls and fidget spinners - a distraction/stress management device. It is worrisome if kids/parents start to mislabel stress and sadness as depression. Some children certainly do struggle with depression, but a "pop-it" toy isn't the treatment for that.
