I had no idea about fanny - I appreciate the heads up! My husband's name is Randy. When we lived in Europe, people got such a kick out of his name that he started introducing himself as Randall to avoid the giggles. When I would call him by Randy, people would wink and nudge my arm. I thought it was funny.

Not a swear word, but an amusing first name overseas.

20 years in Scotland- wow! How often do you get back to the States? Prior to moving to Colorado, we lived in Germany for three years. We didn't travel back to the US during that time, so when we returned, it felt really different. So much busier, more commercial, less homey than I remembered. : (
