I believe this is the article you were referencing earlier. Great read!

First, I used to always defer gratification and not seize the moment. When I was younger, people would give me gift certificates and I would save them so long that they would expire! It was horrible. I don't do that anymore. I use my favorite bubble bath, nice dishes, and vacation days now. : ) I wish I had started doing all those things much earlier in life.

I think enjoying the good things in life complements the article of mine that you read earlier. It's OK to have nice things and enjoy them as long as we appreciate it. If we have fine wine for every meal, it would no longer be special. So, we have that wine once a month instead, and we don't allow it to sit on the shelf for years. Finding a balance seems to be key.

I like that both our articles have different themes, but a very similar message! : )
