I agree, a huge roadblock in relationships is not asking for what we need. As you mentioned, some expect their partner to automatically know what they need. Or, they wait to communicate their needs until they are angry and resentful and then it comes out as a demand.

If the lines of communication are open and we are vulnerable enough to express our needs, relationships grow stronger. This was a wonderful article, Julia! So important!
