As I was reading your article, I saw many parallels with a career that I recently left. I kept trying to make it work because I had invested so much in it. Relationships, friendships, careers, everything can have an expiration date as you say. We can hold on to the memories and let the rest go.

P.S. I would be super upset if I watched a friend's cat and they refused to watch mine. That's just wrong!
